After a busy term, it is nice to sit back and think of all the great things we have accomplished.
Our busy term started off with our 10 week project, mainly brainstorming and planning what we were going to do. In between that, we were training for cross-country, which we then completed in week 4. In between we were getting prepared for camp. In week 6 we headed out to berwick camp,in a bus full of excitement. Once arriving, everyone settled in before our tramp. In the evening we headed out to the lake. In groups, everyone headed out on a narrow track around the lake, in pitch black. Once arriving back at the camp, we headed out for another late night adventure. Operation overland was on a paddock, complete with waist high bogs and dead trees on the ground. We had 2 winners this year, Matt D, Flynn, Ethan and Liam McL. Day 2 was SUPER busy, with our activity day and assault course. Day 3 and 4 were low key, but still pretty full on. We completed the amazing race, search and rescue, confidence course and bivoac building. On our 5th and final day, we packed up, and rode back to school half asleep on the bus.
We then cracked into our cheese assembly. It was unfourtunately canclled, but we put on a mini version in the pac, with a few classes and items. This term has came to a fantastic finish with everyone handing in their work and preparing for our last term ever at balmac!
